The Active Playground is a coaching company who outsource coaches to Primary Schools. Our coaches specialise in delivering high-quality, engaging physical education. We believe that fitness should be accessible, fun, and empowering. We want young people to embrace an active lifestyle and reap the benefits for years to come.
What We Offer
We understand that not all classroom teachers have the training, confidence, or time to deliver high-quality physical education. That’s where The Active Playground steps in as a trusted school partner. Our experienced coaches provide structured, engaging PE lessons that align with the National Curriculum and are tailored to meet the needs of your pupils.

We coach a wide variety of sports and physical activities—ranging from traditional team games to creative movement challenges and fitness-based fun. Each session is designed to build fundamental movement skills, encourage teamwork, and inspire confidence. Our aim is to create a PE environment where children gain confident control of their bodies, understand movement concepts, and enjoy participating in a wide variety of sports and activities. From motor skill development to sport-specific progression, we ensure children are learning in a way that’s active, age-appropriate, and fun.

Alongside our school-based coaching, we run 'Active Days' and Active 'Active Camps' that keep children active and engaged during school breaks. These action-packed days offer a mix of games, challenges, and team-based fun. We give parents peace of mind and children a positive, safe environment to play, learn, and make new friends.
